Born in Vernon (although he lives in North Vancouver)
His specialty event is Snowboard Cross
He had solid finishes in the 2008-09 season, placing in the top-10 in two races despite an injury that kept him out of competition until mid-season.
As of Dec. 14, he needs three top-five finishes over the next four weeks to guarantee himself a spot on the Olympic team
Competed in Turin Olympics in 2006, but finished 17th in snowboard-cross when he was sideswiped by a competitor.
Has been a member of the Canadian national team for 13 years.
