JUSTIN KRIPPS – Boblseigh

Justin Kripps has quickly developing into one of the top brakeman on the Canadian Bobsleigh Team. A high-performance track and field athlete at the varsity and national level, Justin got introduced to the sport of bobsleigh after accepting an invitation to participate in a testing camp in August 2006. Justin quickly discovered the sport was a fun and unique challenge which he was willing to take on and pursue a career in.

Since that time, Justin claims that other than the much colder competition conditions he’s used to in track and field, his transition from the track to a sliding sport has been extremely smooth and  successful. Justin participated in his first full season on the World Cup last year as a member of Pierre Lueders’ Canada 1 crew which captured four World Cup medals including one victory.
